Sindhi Community: An ancient Culture with Modern People
Sindh is one of the most ancient civilizations of Indian sub-continent. The ancient province of Sindh now forms part of Pakistan but the great number of Sindhi people migrated to India and many countries of the world; where they have excelled and made a great name for them as extremely hard working and successful people.
Sindhi Culture was one of the first ones in India to be influenced by Arabs in 8th century and for last 1000 years Sindhi people have followed a very devout Sufi culture.
After the partition Hindus and Muslim Sindhis have separated yet the language, the land and ancient links bind them.
There is a sizable Sindhi Hindu community in Pakistan too where they are doing fine. We invite your views on the progress of the community and their relations with other communities.
