there are many, one such is a guy in England who was in news a week back who has compiled a book based on funny and useless facts of the Bible. this guy has a 'singh' in his name, i forget his name as of now, but will try to tell u soon. if possible.

guys i thik the peron who said in in post that sikhs make only 2% of the indian poppulation is the most stupit person ever. i will say that if the sikh leadership can rise its standards in ways similar to vetican and atleast manage to convince its own community for Khalistan can be created as though being less in number we have full control over the transport system, 22% of the army's strenth is governed by us most of punjab policemen are beliver of sikhism, 35%-40% of foreign exchange is provided by us. we own virtualy all indian multinationals. now answer the people wo say that will 22% of army will stand a cahnce against the rest then remember that india is huge country which at a time has it's around 50% army on borders which have to be guared with no exception to whats the situation in the country. so now u see that it can be doen.
but now the question arises that should it be doen, well personaly i think it should not be because if it's doen the control of the state will be in the hands of people who will Katarpanthis or the hard liners. this will result in similar fate of the state as islamic nations where there are curbs on vertualy every thing from press to entertainment.
so i ask u all would u like to live in such a nation.

People like you who are self righteous and can not see beyond their tunnel vision and shortsightedness are the cause of all problems.
FYI all your argument becomes invalid as you only see and show differences but not the commonalities.
The only thing all and any Punjabi should do is to educate himself/herself and do something for their family, village, city and state, instead of talking meaningless nonsense.
Punjab needs hard work and forces that join not divide.

Personally I think that we all need to stop fighting about stuff that we don't have any control over. As far as Khalistan being formed, I don't think it's possible unless the Sikhs fight the Indian Government and take Eastern PUNJAB from the Indian government's control, which would be very difficult UNLESS all the SIKH members of the Indian Military united. Which would be a miracle in my mind because there are too much corruption which the Sikh Community yet no UNITY.
Secondly, Jatt is a caste. There are Hindu Jatts, Sikh Jatts, Muslim Jatts, Christian Jatts, and I bet there are even Bhuddist Jatts now. Sikh, Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Bhudists.. 5 religions, 5 rivers, 5 ways of talking punjabi.. makes PUNJAB.
Ofcourse Jatts think they are superior, Brahmins think they are superior, Gujars think they are superior, no caste thinks that they are not #1. I am a Jatt Christian, any problems? If so kiss my ass. Brrurah

It is not fair that all of u fight over 2 different religions. Khalistan is just a little wish that terrorists Sikhs want to create. but something like this is never going to happen. as it is has been said earlier on this page that there are many other religions in India. India will be a small country if it starts giving little pieces to all minorities in India. KHALISTAN, think about the definition, doesn't even make sense; an empty space. As far as i know, something like Khalistan is never going to happen and People who want to spred terrorism can never succeed in their mission. INDIA IS AN AMAZING COUNTRY AND SOME SIKHS should just understand that INDIA is a multiculural country with many different people. There is no other country in the whole entire universe where there are this many differnt languages and religions.

The reason behind khalistan is very simple. All the religions in the world have their own " home land"
The jews having isreal, the christains having many homelands, the buddists have tibet, the muslims have saudi arbia, the catholics have vatcain, the hindus have hinduistan (india) many hindus call india hinduistan first part if it is hindu, so the sikhs simply also want a homeland, more of a religious land.Just because we are miniorties, doesn't mean we are worth nothing. Khalistan will form, it is a matter of money and the long transition when trying to become a country. If pakistan could be formed, then khalistan will be formed. T
