Foreign Policy (IMAGE) of India - A Creative Debate
| By JOANNES RAVI KUMAR. VEMULA on Sunday, May 22, 2005 - 09:53 am: |
I Mr. Joannes Ravi Kumar. Vemula, is an Indian Student studying in
overseas, in St.Kitts. West Indies. I came from India to St.Kitts on
March
10th, 2003, to study Medicine. At present i have completed almost 3/4th
of my studies. As you clearly know that, this system and this
curriculum is for very short period of time, now i am in a stage that,
i have to
start something called Electives in India. But, i have been informed by
someone that, any Indian Student who is studying outside India, have
to submit their passport, showing the total duration of course, in that
particular area where he college is situated. I dont think, there is
any certain rule, because once when you go through the Web site of
Medical Council of India - .mciindia.org, there is no such rule
mentioned
there, under the Rules and Regulations for Foreign Medical Graduates.
There will a Screening Test, which will be conducted by the National
Board of Examinations, and their website is - .natboard.nic.in. This
is
the main concern, i do not want to work any where except in and for my
own country. So, i am requesting you as an Indian Foreign Medical
Student, can i continue My Last part of the Studies in India, that is
ELECTIVES.
The main reasons why i am insisting to complete Electives in India
are:-
1) As a student, everyone wants to learn more things. Sir, these
Electives are completely the Base of my Future, i am will get good
exposure
with the patients and when i am able to see lot of new and different
varieties of cases, you know i will be learning more. The disadvantage
in
St.Kitts is, the total population is 35,000, where as in India its 100
times greater.
2) As a student, i think everyone will be looking for their own
financial matters, the cost of living in India will be in Indian
Rupees, but
here its in Dollars.
I am trying to do Justice for myself and for my parents, by learning
the good things and to do the best for my own life, so that i could do
the best for the people who comes to my office in future.
Sir/Madam, please, i want to know if i could do electives in India and
what are the Rules and Regulations and what's the procedure for this?
Sir/Madam, if my fate is to stay here in the Caribbean and complete my
electives, what's the procedure for that? But please remember, my first
preference is to go back to my country and study the Best out of it.
Please, i really don't know whom to contact, i have e-mailed MCI and
National Board of examinations and none of them replied me back, so i
thought let ask you, so that with your authority you might come up with
something.
PLEASE, SIR/MADAM, I REALLY BEG YOU ALL FOR THE INFORMATION. I SOLEMNLY
DECLARES, THAT WHAT EVER I MENTIONED ABOVE IS NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH, TO
THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE.
I SHALL LOOK FORWARD FOR YOUR REPLY.
Thanks a lot Sir/Madam,
Your Truly,
Joannes.

Failiures of past life raise eye-brows amd ask tobe alert so that silly mistakes can be avoided.Today's fast age of machine can't bear the load of mistakes. singles mistakes may become the reason of big defeat. To be awarw of everything is very necessary today.Ignorance only spreads darkness.Nowadaysonlythose peoplecan stand in the crowd wtih their identity glitters, whoare equipped with knowlege., Knowledge is a power that gives strength to fight against unexpected situation. Life is full of non-periodic events.Famous astrlogers could not predict theexactfuture happenings.therefore,We should start the process ofmaking su well equipped that strenthen our base. At any point of time, big risk can come on the way. Rather than avoidingrisk, we should accpetit. With great effortand sincerity,it si better to start the war againstthis risk so thatit is altered into boom and proved as miracle.
